Megaupload Happy Hour without the toolbar

Here is how to use Megaupload during happy hour without having the toolbar installed. This allows you to have premium access from 9pm to 3am EST everynight. To get all your downloading in for free.

1. Download the FireFox extension "GreaseMonkey", and restart FireFox

2. Download this Javascript Script (as a free user please :])

Inside this RAR archive is a javascript file and a file called, 1MB.rar, ignore that file and extract the javascript to somewhere convenient, i personally choose the desktop

Then open FireFox and go to File>Open and select the javascript file, the installed GreaseMonkey extension should recognize it and ask you if you want to add it to the list, select yes

Restart FireFox

3. Sign up for a free megaupload account. Not a premium one, just a free one.

4. Between the hours of 9PM and 3AM EST, go to
www.megaupload.com/premium/?happyhour

It will say that you have recieved premium access for the next 300 or so minutes.

Note: You may have to keep the Megaupload Happy Hour page open in a tab so that it remembers you have registered for Happy Hour

Hopefully people will use MegaUpload more so people can get as much as they want downloaded while still only having one file per episode. Sign up for a free account and you are golden.

you need to install the greasemonkey extension to firefox, and then go to file -> open, and browse for the "megaupload.happyhour.js" that you download/extracted from the RAR archive.  When prompted, choose "yes" to add the script to the list in firefox.

I hope that clarified the instructions for you.

Somebody from somewhere told me about this and I love it so much. My downloads go super fast too with hhp.

Well... I don't think this is possible anymore. Megauload changed their site. And when its activated, it just takes you to the premium page where they ask you to buy an account.

I relied on the crack you guys provided. No way in hell am I installing their toolbar. Sucks this trick won't work now.

I looked at the packets that the toolbar was sending from firefox and the only two places that I noticed it called home to were Alexa and a MU stat server.

The speeds are still fantastic, above 1 MB for me. Uploading is about 100. Like its always been. I just wanted to have the crack still work lol.

I just tried it and it didn't work. I think Megaupload removed their "happy hour" policy.
